JOURNEY TO EXCELLENCE
Sunway Building Materials Group (BMG) comprises three core business segments – (1) Sunway Paving Solutions for Interlocking Concrete Paver & Compressed Concrete Paving Slab (Eurotiles), (2) Sunway Spun Pile (High Performance High Strength Pretensioned Spun Concrete Pile) and (3) Sunway VCP (Vitrified Clay Pipe & Vitrified Clay Jacking Pipe). We have eight (8) manufacturing facilities which are ISO accredited in Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015),Environment Management System (ISO 14001:2015) and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001:2018).
Sunway Berhad started its spun pile factory in the year 2008 in Zhuhai, China; producing special scale large diameter spun pile with 700 mm, and up to 53 meters in length. Many of Sunway’s experiences are landmark projects such as Tanjung Priok in Jakarta, ZZY Oil & Gas Terminal in Guangzhou, COSCO Shipyard in Dongguan and West Port in Shenzhen to name a few.
In 2015, Sunway Group built its first Malaysian spun pile plant at Batang Kali, Selangor, bringing together Asia, Southeast Asia and local Malaysian experiences to provide High Performance High Strength Pretensioned Spun Concrete Pile to clients locally and globally.
Our Batang Kali plant uses pump feeding machinery and technology from Japan (the front-runner in the spun pile industry). Our production is able to produce Grade 80 and 90 High Performance High Strength Pretensioned Spun Concrete Pile (PHC Piles).
